If being in the great outdoors is more important to you than the creature comforts during your holiday why not choose to stay in The Tackroom Bunkhouse. This was grooms quarters, which have recently been converted into accommodation for up to 12. Individuals or groups can book this accommodation.

The Tackroom Bunkhouse comprises of 2 bedrooms, each sleeping 6 people in man-size bunks, 3 high, with lockers for valuables. The living area consists of a large dining area with colour television, mini-kitchen, complete with crockery and cutlery, electric hob, microwave, (no oven) fridge, etc. Each room has an electric heater. Adjoining is a shower/toilet block, which is shared with the small 20-pitch campsite, complete with 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 washbasins, also a washing machine and a tumble drier (showers, washing machine and drier are on coin boxes). We also offer a “lock-up/drip drying room” for bikes, diving gear or any other outdoor equipment of value to you plus plenty of off-road parking.
Please supply your own bedding.

The charge to stay in The Tackroom is as follows:

• Weekly tariff per night: - Sunday to Thursday (inclusive) £10.00 per adult t/£7.00 under 12's.
• Weekend rate - Friday and Saturday £10 per adult /£7 under 12's.
• Bank Holiday Sunday evenings - £10 per adult/£7 under 12's
